GRE ( Graduate Record Exam)

is the standardized test used to get admissions in various graduate schools or business graduate schools in various English speaking countries. Aspirants interested in pursuing a master’s degree, specialized master’s course, MS, MBA, MEM or doctoral degree can sit for the GRE Test.
COMPONENTS OF THE COURSE

Computer-based test is the most commonly used GRE test format. However, paper-based format is available at test centers where Computer-based GRE test is not there. The total duration of the test is 3 hours 40 minutes. There are six sections and a 10-minute break is given after the third section during the examination

An unidentified unscored section that does not count toward your score may be included and may appear in any order. Questions in the unscored section are being tried out either for possible use in future tests or to ensure that scores on new editions of the test are comparable to scores from earlier editions.
The research section will always appear at the end of the test. Questions in this section are included  for ETS research purposes

SYLLABUS
Verbal Reasoning
This section tests your comfort level with text and grammar. The Verbal Reasoning section of the GRE Test Pattern contains three types of questions:
  • Reading Comprehension 
  • Text Completion
  • Sentence Equivalence

Quantitative Reasoning

The Quantitative Reasoning section measures your ability to understand quantitative information and apply mathematical skills and elementary mathematical concepts of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry and data interpretation.

  • Quantitative Comparison Questions
  • Multiple-choice Ques – Select 1 Ans Choice.
  •  Multiple-choice Ques – Select 1 or More Ans Choices
  • Numeric Entry Questions.

Analytical Writing
The Issue task presents an opinion on an issue of general interest followed by specific instructions on how to respond to that issue. You are required to evaluate the issue, consider its complexities and develop an argument with reasons and examples to support your views.
